Tonight's teleseminar "A Simple Matter of Allowing" was wonderful--at least it was from my perspective, and that of several folks I heard from afterward. We had a great turnout, and the energy was really nice. Somehow, though, we got cut off near the end of it, and I was challenged to get back on the line. I dialed in but didn't have the organizer access code at my fingertips and so I used the participant code--no one could hear me! But I could hear them, lamenting that the call was cut off before things had wrapped up! So frustrating!

The funny part was that someone, in the process of asking a question, had  just commented that she felt isolated from others when she was aligned, in her joy and feeling higher in frequency, and I had just noted that we were on a call with 60 or so other people who were of like mind and who were at higher frequency, too, and that the separation was just an illusion...and we got cut off! It would have been funny...but it wasn't! (Funnier now!)

When I finally located the organizer access code again (when I first dialed in, I had been looking at it on the freeconference.com website, but my session timed out and it automatically closed the window!), there were still a few people there, and so I answered a few more questions--which I love doing--and we finished up about 8:30 Mountain Time.

If you were on the call and didn't get to say "goodnight," I am really sorry! I have no idea why we were cut off, but I'm sure it was all in Divine Order. Anyway, I do hope you'll come back next month!

Here is a snippet from my notes from tonight in case you missed the call:

"A desire means you've received your Wise/Provider Self's notice that something is on its way as long as you don't block it! As long as you allow it.

What if someone you knew to be fabulously wealthy, completely benevolent, generous, loving and has your highest level of well-being in mind called you up and said, "I'd like to give you your heart's desire and I'd like to deliver it today, no strings attached"

What would be the proper response? THANK YOU!!!

What is the proper response to the recognition of a desire? THANK YOU!!! It's a done deal as long as you don't block it with doubts, pushing, worry, or fear-based thinking of any kind.

When a desire comes, don't mess with it!!! Don't doubt it. Simply hold it quietly and knowingly within. Know that by simply relaxing and trusting in your Wise/Provider Self and its perfect coordination with Divine Order and Divine Timing, it will appear in your experience in exactly the right sequencing and timing, be that in seconds from now, or years from now. (If you are not in your ego, that will not matter one little bit to you!) The less concerned you are with the details, the faster whatever it is will show up as long as it fits into the Divine Design for Harmony and supports your true well-being.

Choosing Easy World is very supportive of the process of manifestation via allowing."

 Goodnight, everybody!

Getting swept is NOT much fun

| | Comments (4)

Well, I guess I wasn't a vibrational match to winning the World Series in this reality! Or, perhaps, I should say that the Rockies weren't! The Red Sox swept to win the title tonight. The Rockies lost their mo during the 8-day hiatus between the National League Championship Series and the World Series and just couldn't get it back. Not to say the Sox didn't play really great baseball, but the Rockies' magic that carried them through for so long was definitely missing.

There was a little while tonight when they were only one run behind and it looked like they might catch up--but it wasn't meant to be.

Anyway, I'm okay with that as it frees up my evenings to do something other than watch baseball! Time to change focus.

Remember that October's free teleseminar is Tuesday night: A Simple Matter of Allowing. Be sure you're on my email list to get the access details!

Last night in game 1 of the World Series, the Rockies were slaughtered at Fenway Park in Boston. The Red Sox outplayed them in every way. Josh Beckett, the Red Sox premier pitcher, and arguably the best pitcher in baseball today, was nearly infallible. The final score was 13-1. Tonight, in game 2, it was a different story. The Sox still won, but only by one run. The Rockies are clearly coming back to life  Hallelujah!

Last night, on the Powerful Intentions Forum, a Rockies fan asked the following question that I felt called to answer. He was expressing his deep desire to see the Rockies win even though the Red Sox are favored something like 2-1. He said, "I guess what I am saying is that there are about 90% of baseball watchers trying to manifest a Red Sox win.... How do we combat them, or out-manifest them?"

Here is my answer: "I know it seems counter to what MLB is--a competition--but the key is NOT to consider "them" at all. When we manifest, regardless of what our limited ego-minds perceive, we are not in competition with anyone.

Keep your focus on what YOU want and give NO THOUGHT to what anyone else wants. Keep your vibratory rate at the frequency of joy so that you are a vibrational match to experiencing even more joy (if you think that your team winning would be a match to joy!).

I don't know if you'll comprehend this--but let me just say that YOU are the creator of your reality, and there are infinite possible realities that can manifest concurrently, and the way you manifest a reality in your own experience is by where your focus is and what you are a vibrational match to. That absolutely determines what you manifest as your reality. And what others manifest as their realities, too. There isn't just one outcome even if that's what seems to be true.

Let the Red Sox fans manifest a reality where their team wins. Perfect!  Let the Rockies fans manifest a reality where their team wins. Perfect!

Let me repeat: regardless of what our left brains tell us, there is not simply one consensus reality, but multiple ones.

It's a matter of where you put your attention, what your vibrational state is, and what you can allow. As for me, I intend to allow a Rockies victory."

Apparently, I was vibrating a closer match to creating it so that the Rockies are winning in my reality tonight than last night. Now for an actual winning score! They'll be back in Denver for game 3 on Saturday. I can see them winning at Coors Field...

Go Rockies!

And I Am Telling You

| | Comments (0)

But am I being heard?!

I was having a perfectly lovely and pleasant day when my ego got bent out of shape about something. It did not feel good, so I got out my Release essential oil blend and breathed it in. "What is the gift in this discomfort?" I heard within. "What is the message? What is the shift you need to make?" I began to dialog with myself about it, and it boiled down to the belief that "I am not heard." This has been a lifelong pattern, and I have been in process of releasing it for years. I've even blogged about it before. I want to be heard! I love being heard! And as a writer and teacher, being heard is pretty much a requirement for success! Obviously, I am heard to a great extent, but it's as if there is a conflict within that manifests in the feeling of not being heard. And that attracts evidence of not being heard.

In the midst of this contemplation, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" came up in my iTunes rotation. This is the song that Jennifer Hudson sang so impossibly powerfully in her astonishing performance in Dreamgirls. It's a challenge for me to listen to that without singing along, and since no one else was here, I opened up in my distinctly non-Jennifer-caliber voice and sang along with her, my angst dissolving as I sang. It is a song about being heard, actually! It felt really good, even though I am sure it probably sounded pretty strange!

If you know the song, you know it's somewhat of a "#3" set to music (if you don't know what a #3 is, see the Step-By-Step Frequency Raising System). If you don't know the song, I highly recommend either getting it from the iTunes Store, looking it up on YouTube and listening, or renting Dreamgirls to watch the whole movie. Anyway, the point is that, as I wailed along with Jennifer, I suddenly realized that my nextdoor neighbor, whose driveway is in very close proximity to my office window, might hear me, and so I turned the volume down on my voice in embarrassment over the thought of being heard.

Hmmm..."I want to be heard," and "I don't want to be heard," all in the same episode. I think there may be gold to mine in that realization. I will mull it over...

Meanwhile, Game 1 of the World Series is tonight, with the Colorado Rockies playing the Boston Red Sox. GO ROCKIES!!!

Mercury Rx? Lovin' it!

| | Comments (0)

Sometimes I wish I knew just a little more about astrology. I know just enough to know I don't know nearly enough to fully comprehend what's going on! Mercury, for example, is retrograde, which would imply that communications are wonky and certainly not an optimal time to send out a mailing or participate in something that depends on the Internet.

But the last 48 hours have brought the most traffic to both my main website and the Easy World site we've had in a really long time--and aside from the day of the launch of Easy World, the most ever there. I do know that how Mercury Rx affects you depends on a host of factors, so there must have been a bunch that mitigated the usual effects. In this case, if this was a bad time for communications, I'd sure be amazed to see what might have happened if the time was ideal!

Very exciting! I can feel that the energy around my work has expanded hugely. In addition to my fall newsletter going out, and a variety of other miscellaneous small contributing factors, a great deal of the expanded feeling has to do with my participation in an effort to get the word out about Gay Hendricks' new book, Five Wishes. (Thanks so much to my wonderful friend, best seller campaign wizard and NY Times Bestselling author, Peggy McColl, for that connection). It was a different kind of campaign and apparently very successful--it's at #5 on the Amazon Best Seller list--or was the last time I checked. According to my web stats, lots and lots of new folks have discovered my work via the sponsor page for Five Wishes. (I'm all the way at the bottom, which at first blush may not seem like a benefit, but I think it has been.)

And unlike some times when people drop by during such a campaign, these people were not lured there with the promise of a gift--they have come and spent time exploring the site instead of the usual hit-and-run situation when they come just to collect a free download. I love that! I love knowing that what I'm doing and have done is making connections for people that prompts them to want to hang around and explore the site, read articles, peruse the blog, and so on.

Do check into Five Wishes. I have read about a third of it, and it really catalyzed some powerful inner shifts in my thinking about some things. It's a simple little book but packs a punch. It's a combination memoir from Gay Hendricks mixed with a guide to personal growth. I think it would make a great holiday gift. And no--I'm under no obligation to blog about this book--I really like it a lot!

Changing the subject, Rick and I ordered in sushi tonight and if you've never had a lobster tempura roll, you don't know what you're missing!!!

Okay--some of you may be wishing I'd get off this baseball thing, but that is not looking all that likely in the near future--the Rockies swept the National League Championship Series with 4 straight wins over the Arizona Diamondbacks and will now play in the World Series!

That doesn't start for over a week, so with any luck, I'll be posting about other things between now and then...

Bookmark and Share

The Colorado Rockies rock on! I am working on my fall newsletter (to be ready this Thursday), so most of my writing energy is going into that, but I thought I would report that the Rockies have now won the first 2 games of the National League Championship Series with the Arizona Diamondbacks (in Phoenix) to see who will play in the World Series. They will be back here in Denver tomorrow night to play Game 3, with cold, rain, and even snow in the forecast. Will this be an advantage in playing a team used to high temps and clear skies?

The Arizona fans, as one might imagine, have not taken defeat at all well, with some even going so far in the first game as to throw full bottles onto the field when a call didn't go their way--so dangerous, the Rockies manager had to pull them off the field till things calmed down! And I have been struck by all the booing fans of all teams do when things aren't going their way. They clearly don't understand the Law of Attraction--going into reverse polarity just takes them farther into the realm of things not going their way!

To get what you want, you have to have a vibration that matches what you want. People who are booing or otherwise being contrary are hardly vibrating a match to the joy of victory! Also, the booing brings the whole synergy one is a part of down, so you're actually depleting the energy of the team you're connected with when you use your emotional expressiveness to emphasize and magnify displeasure at what you don't like!

Yes--I'm finding a lot of spiritual lessons in baseball these days, which is a fortunate thing since I'm needing to spend so much time watching it!

Rocktober!

| | Comments (2)

I must preface this by saying that I've never been much of a sports fan. But when you live in a city with pro sports teams, it's easy to get infected when the energy around one of them picks up. The only pro sport I've been to in person since I've lived here in Denver is baseball. I've been to Coors Field to see the Colorado Rockies play a number of times, and I'll confess what I really like is the ballpark experience. I don't remember the Rockies winning but maybe one game when I was present, so the thrill of the game has not been the main draw for me. I do love the atmosphere at Coors Field--I'm sure it's the same at other Major League ballparks, but since Coors is the only one I've been to, that's my reference point. I love the sunshine, blue skies (I've been lucky with my baseball weather!), schlocky organ music, food stalls, beer stands, over-the-top sound and light effects, cornball announcer, and, yes, the baseball is interesting, too.

Though I haven't been to the ballpark this season, it's gotten really interesting over the last few weeks, because the Rockies, who have never made a post-season playoff before this year are on fire! Make that "ON FI-YAH!" They've won the last 17 of 18 games, including sweeping the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series which they put an end to last night. Now they advance to the National League Championship Series, and they have fans dreaming of the World Series, which they will play in if they win the NLCS over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Rockies have a young, talented, dynamic team, and the roll they've been on feels like it's still picking up speed. We shall see! It certainly has swept me up in it. I've watched (on TV) their last 6 games with great enthusiasm, and plan to keep watching till the playoff ride ends. Yes--I'm late to the party, and one of those fairweather fans the diehards love to resent, but better late than never! I'm having big fun nonetheless.

I started this entry by saying I've never been much of a sports fan. I always thought it was much ado about nothing and that people's devotion and passion were misplaced--that if they invested as much passion in being creative or helpful or spiritually focused as they do in sports, the world would be a better place. And having your identity all tied up with being a fan of this, that, or the other team was a bit pathetic.

Now, I wonder about that. I mean--people do seem to get a lot of joy out of sports, and what is more transformative than joy? Not to mention, while you're transfixed by a game, you're not as likely to be fomenting trouble (that's for those prone to that--not my dear blog readers!). And surely there is great merit to being purely entertained with your mind off your troubles. So, even though I do think some people use sports as a way to avoid digging deeper within themselves, I'm mellowing a bit on my stance. But maybe that's simply because I need to rationalize my new Rockies baseball fixation...

Go Rockies!
This time is what folks around here are calling "Rocktober."

Priscilla Palmer decided it would be fun to start a list of favorite personal development blogs and let others add their favorites to the list. It was obviously an idea with energy behind it as the list has grown like Topsy! Someone put my blog on the list, which I discovered from a Google Alert, and so I added a few blogs to the list as well. As a way to pay it forward and keep the energy building, the bloggers included on the list have been publishing the whole list on their blogs, which has really accelerated things! About the time this was happening, I was on vacation at Lake Michigan, blissfully pretending to have no responsibilities at all. Now that I'm back, I'm ready to publish the list.

Warning: There are many really interesting blogs here and exploring all of them could mean a temporary drop in productivity! Have fun!

I already know of some other blogs I want to add to the list, so look for an update here soon...

Finding My Soulmate Part 9

| | Comments (1)

My last entry in the Soulmate Saga was April 2006. A little sluggish with adding them, but better late than never! I was moved to write #9 now because Rick and I have started a blog "Creating A Loving Relationship," and we are telling our story there, little by little, through reposting what we've already put on this blog (if you haven't read the prior entries, just put "soulmate saga" in the search window and a list of them will come up) and adding on.

We're not ready to make a grand announcement about the new blog because there is much we want to do before it matches our vision for it, but since you're already my loyal blog reader, I thought you might enjoy checking it out! And, for now, we're offering comments on relationship questions, so if you'd like our insight, feel free to post your questions in the comments section there!

Okay--on with #9

+++++++++++++++++++++

Now that the way was made clear for us to be together from the standpoint of no relationship complications, I suddenly felt something entirely new to me: I had attracted a completely available man! And that meant I needed to be completely available to him! Yikes! That both exhilarated and terrified me at the same time. But by this point, I was so in love with Rick that  I knew I'd do whatever it took to work through my fear.

The first obstacle that arose--if you can even call it that, based on my determination to plow through anything that might be in our way-- was location. I was in North Carolina, and he was in Colorado. But there was no doubt where we'd need to be if we were going to bring this relationship into 3-D, real life. Because Rick had young children in Denver (at the time, the four girls were 5, 7, 9, and 11 respectively), and because I would not possibly stand for him being an absentee dad, nor would he, I would be moving to Colorado.

For some, the chance to move to Colorado would have been a dream-come-true...but not for me. Unlike so many folks I knew, I had never felt deeply called westward. I had never been prone to romantic notions of the West, nor attracted by the supposedly more spiritual vibe present west of the Mississippi that I had heard much talk about. Yes--at one point, several years before, I had considered a possible move to Santa Fe because of it's arts community (at the time, I was very focused on my collage work), but was very torn at the idea of leaving the lush, verdant Southeast to live somewhere dry and brown. My longing was for somewhere even greener, even warmer, even more humid--I could feel the tropics calling. When I had an astro-locality reading around that time, the man reading my chart was very adamant that I would have way too many challenges in Santa Fe to be happy. In fact, he advised, I needed to stay away from that longitude altogether as my Pluto IC line ran right through it, connoting some place that would be highly transformative but in painful ways. Guess what other city is on my Pluto line? Yep. Denver. At the time, I had vowed to stay clear of it!

As my connection to Rick deepened before he had cut things off with "Susan," I had even rationalized the impossibility of us getting together and consoled myself about his unavailable status because of the Denver "problem." But there was another vow in place that superseded the declaration to avoid Denver and vicinity. I had long ago made a solemn pledge to Spirit that I would go wherever I was called to be, no matter what or where, as long as I was very clear it was my God-Self guiding me there. (This was before I had overcome the notion that spiritual sacrifice was a necessity!) And I was definitely feeling the call to Denver.

So, in my mind, choosing to be with Rick meant choosing to live in Denver. Now, remember--we had never seen each other in person before, but we had already entered so deeply into the space called "Us," there wasn't much question about continuing to follow the energy. As I pondered these things, one thing became clear: I had no choice. Okay--I had a choice, techically speaking, but according to my heart, I had no choice at all. Thus, I composed the following email to Rick:

================================================================================

There is something important that I want you to know...I am not telling you this in order to push the river, only that you will know what is going on with me. Do you remember the following melodramatic pronouncement cut and pasted from an October 28 message?

======

"I want to tell you something which helps me come to terms with the
parameters of our relationship. Yes, there's your committment to Susan.
But there is also something in the back of my mind that adds to my
understanding that our being more than friends at a distance is probably
not destined to be. You live in Colorado. You have children who are
important to you who live in Colorado. I have, at least at this time,
next to zero interest in living in Colorado! My aim is to be in warm
places--tropical would be nice--and the thought of living somewhere
where there are blizzards in October and more in May, sounds like a
recipe for terminal depression to me! So if we ever got together, we'd
have to have the kids and their mother move wherever we were! Since that
sounds a little impossible, and since you are in love with and have
plans with S, I know I'd better forget about any possibilities
other than the one we are exploring now. Love and friendship at a
distance! (See how adept my mind is at finding ways to assure my heart
of what can be, what cannot?)"

======

Well, just so you'll know, I would rather be in a blizzard and warm with you than in the blazing hot sun on the beach anywhere, without you. Because that would be much colder. No more artificial barriers. Just so you'll know.

===========================================================

Recognizing that Rick and Denver were a package deal, and most likely my destiny, it was time to set up a trip to Denver to meet my destiny face-to-face. And so, I began to research deals on airline tickets.

(next installment with Spirit moves me!)

I'll be adding more later, but for those who are going to be attending my free teleseminar tonight, here's a link to the Step-By-Step Frequency Raising System:

http://www.juliarogershamrick.com/weblog/2006/05/stepbystep-frequency-raising.html

Update:

We had a huge and energetic group for the teleseminar--77 calls in (including Rick and me). I made a point of grounding myself more than usual tonight and was happy to feel that I was able to deliver all the salient points and still bring through lots of energy. I imagine I will be offering this one as a download when I get it edited!

Thanks to all of you who joined the call and added your lovely energy!
